Campaign Volunteers

Start here

I have always enjoyed volunteering for causes that I believe in. I love the interaction that I have with people, the chance to be able to help, and honestly I love to laugh and enjoy people’s company. Sometimes I enjoy it so much that I have a hard time knowing when to say no!

I must take a minute and brag about those who volunteer for this campaign! We have many amazing people who give of their time to help us set up fundraisers, coffees, and so many other details that go into a County wide campaign. For example, I have a volunteer named Brandon who met me for coffee one day and encouraged me to start this blog so people can get to know me a little better! This has been so much fun to do! In fact, I met a lady named Cindy in Mackinaw yesterday at our Coffee event who told me she reads this blog weekly. (Hi Cindy!) As we go along, I will share more life experiences and fun things with you so you can get to know me a little better. However, this week is committed to those who really work hard behind the scenes to help us move in the right direction.

I’m proud of each person who believes in me and is willing to stand with me and support me in my journey to become the next Tazewell County Sheriff. If you are looking to help us out, there are a couple ways you can do that! You can volunteer to be on our campaign committee. We have many fun opportunities for you to help us along the way. We also are always looking for donations. As you can imagine, it is not cheap to run a county wide campaign! Or, maybe you just want to drop us a note and encourage us! We would love to hear from you. You can email us at eetenforsheriff@gmail.com, or visit our web site at http://www.eetenforsheriff.com. There are links on the site to volunteer, donate, or to contact us!

Before I sign off, I wanted to remind you about our Cubs/Cards raffle drawing that we will have tomorrow night (April 24th) at Maquets Railhouse in Pekin (221 Court St). We will do the drawing at 7pm, but will be there at 6pm. We have many other Cubs/Cards items we will be doing a silent auction for such items as autographed baseballs and photos, jerseys, and many other items. I hope that you will stop by so I can meet you!

Thank you for believing in me and for reading my blog. I am humbled by the support, and and anxious to work hard as your next Tazewell County Sheriff. Have a great week!

-Mike-
